Youth Events
St. Andrews has a variety of fun childrens and teenagers activities to cater for all ages. For more information on all or any of the following activities please feel free to contact the church.
Créche
Pre-Schoolers
A créche is operated for all pre-school ages children during the 10.30 am service. Parents may take their children to the créche room, located in the church hall, after the children’s address. There is a minimum of two carers in attendance at all times.
Saviour Seekers
Sunday School
Saviour Seekers is a Sunday school programme designed for children aged 4 - 12 years. It is the commitment of the teachers and helpers to faithfully instruct children in God’s Word in a safe and loving environment.
Saviour Seekers meet every Sunday morning and adheres to N.S.W school term dates. The children particpate in the 10.30 am service with their parents until the conclusion of the children’s address. They then leave the church with their teaches and assistants and proceed to the McDonald Education Centre (located on church grounds) for their program. The program lasts for approximately 45 minutes (until the end of the service).
Kids Club
Primary Schoolers
Kids Club is held at the church on each Thursday afternoon from 4.00 pm - 6.00 pm in the church hall during school term.
This programme is designed for all primary school aged children (5 - 12 years) and is led by commited Christian leaders and helpers. The cost of this program is $2.50 per child, per week, or $6.00 per family. Afternoon tea is included. Activities involve craft, games, stories, and singing.
Friday Friends
Babies and Toddlers
Friday Friends meets each Friday morning from 10.00 am - 11.30 am in the church hall during school term.
This programme is designed for pre-schoolers and their parent/s and/or grandparents.
The leaders of this group are commited to providing a safe, loving and fun environment for the children and their parent/s and/or guardians whilst adhering to Christian principles.
Cost: $1.00 per week.
Youth Group
High Schoolers
Youth Group meets each Friday evening from 7.20 pm - 10.00 pm in the church hall during school term.
This group involves high school students and is supervised by commited Christian leaders.
Cost is $2.00 per person per week. There may however be an additional cost for some activities. A signed permission note from parents will be required for all off-site activities.
